Calling all Shuckers and Suckers,

Friends, Cajuns, countrymen… Yeah You Right. It’s that time of year again. The Annual Shuck and Suck Classic Crawfish and Oyster Fest is drawing near and is here to fill that void of spice, sodium, cold beers, and bottom feeders in your hearts and stomachs.

Again this year we will combine the efforts of Quality Seafood, Glazers Distributors, and The Electric Company to create the likes of a boil never seen. We are currently hard at work putting together all the details, but you can be sure this year will be one of the best in Austin. With live music, moonwalk, and other fun activities, there will be plenty to keep the kids occupied so load up the truckster and bring the whole family.

The mother of all boils will go down Saturday April 30th on the Lawn of American Legion Hall (Next to Deep Eddy Pool and Lady Bird Lake). So bring your swimsuits, Kayaks, and Stand Up Paddleboards. We are limiting capacity this year to be sure everyone has plenty of food. Rich from Quality Seafood, Austin’s best seafood market, is providing up to 1000 pounds of the choicest farm raised mud bugs and oysters known to man and boiling them up like only Quality can.

Just as year’s past, this year S&S will benefit Habitat for Humanity and so portions of the proceeds of your $25 ticket will go to a good cause. Your food and drinks (libations too) all day are included in your cost for your ticket. So no matter what Parish you’re from, bring it on down to Shuck and Suck and celebrate another beautiful spring in Austin Texas. As mentioned kids under 12 are free and 12-20 year old kids are a $10 donation.
